As usual when I went to a new to me restaurant I like to take photos. These are the photos I took of what I believe was the first time I enjoyed a delicious meal at Mrs. White's Golden Rule Cafe in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. For this first visit we of course had to try the famous fried chicken and pork chop.

Before, during, and after my time with the TFST Diversity Council—which would undergo several name changes in the future, including Tempe Diversity Council, Tempe Diversity & Inclusion Council, Tempe Inclusion Council, and others—there were many brown bags (talks, presentations, and the like) about different diversity, equity, and inclusion topics. 

I attended many brown bags throughout the years and helped coordinate and/or assist on a few of them. What you see on this video is the tri-fold takeaway that I put together for the A GLBT Brown Bag that took place on November 02, 2010.

JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes 2010!

On the 30th of October from the year 2010, I participated in the 2010 JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes that was held at the Tempe Town Lake. I helped as part of #TargetVolunteers in selling tickets for a raffle the event organizers were doing. If I remember correctly, participants could buy a string of tickets stretching their entire height for a set price. I believe we also got to participate in the walk itself. 

Because I didn't take any photos of the event, I made this video of photos from the screen capture of the email update of info for the volunteer event, the map of the event, the map of where parking was available, and a photo I took of the t-shirt we received.

The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes from 2008, took place on November 1st of the same year. Although I wasn't able to the walk itself, I did volunteer the Sunday prior to the event to help put together packs for the event. I didn't previously create a video about this because I didn't take any photos during the volunteer event. 

The only thing I had was a screen capture of the email we received from the event organizer. I then went back to my blog and found that I had posted a brief recap of various events from September through October of 2008 where I included a few sentences about this event.

Because No Tan Diario Chonicles is about chronicling my small life where even if there isn't a specific photo or video of an event, I decided to screen cap that piece of the blog to add along with the screen capture of the info email and make this short video to document. If ever I find photos or videos that anyone else took at this volunteer event, I may make an updated/new video for it. For now, this is what I have.

These are the two initial scenes of the Stargate Special Edition movie, the Main Title and Prologue: Egypt. The Main Title scene is the same on both the theatrical and special edition. the Prologue: Egypt scene was not in the original theatrical version and is part of what makes this special edition unique. Before sharing the two scenes separately, I had originally intended to upload them together because it's what builds excitement to watch the movie. 

Although this is my last upload about for the foreseeable future about the Stargate Special Edition DVD, I hope you have enjoyed this look into this fantastic movie and its special edition DVD. May this brief look encourage you to go get yourself a copy of Stargate Special Edition DVD but most importantly watch it.

This is the start of the Stargate movie, the Main Title/Scene 1, on the Stargate Special Edition DVD. The soundtrack and the visual of the Ra headpiece always gets gets me excited to watch the movie. Even as I extracted this for this post I couldn't help but watch it again. 

You may notice some slight skipping on the video which I believe is due to having been in storage for a bit. Nonetheless, it is still enjoyable to watch.
