2023 Homegrown Track Collection - Vertical

Vertical version of the compilation of the four audio tracks we made using audio loops in 2023. For this version we modified the titles so they would fit, used transitions between the tracks, and has bit more movement due to wanting each corresponding track image seen in their entirety, then zooming in to fill the screen as the audio plays.

These were our first tracks made using audio loops we acquired with commercial rights as we dove into creating our own audio for our videos. We decided to make the compilation to give you an insight into our headspace at the time.

The first three tracks were created as we loosely played with audio loops. The fourth track, Winter Solstice Wonderland, was created with a bit more of a thought process because we had prompted the creation of several AI generated images that would celebrate/feature the Winter Solstice and made the track to fit that theme. We made and uploaded a version with the images as is and another zooming into them.

Stargate Special Edition | DVD Start Menu, Special Features Menu, Teaser, and Trailer

Hello yawl! So here you have now the DVD Start Menu, the Special Features Menu, the Teaser and the Trailer. 

On this video you see the DVD Start Menu from which I select the Special Features Menu. The Special Features Menu has three options: Audio Features, Play Teaser, and Play Trailer. Once the audio on the Special Features menu begins to loop along with video snips on it, I selected Audio Features which takes to the two options which are: Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin Commentary and Dolby 5.1. I then go back to the Special Features Menu and select Play Teaser. After watching the teaser I selected Play Trailer, not shown on screen, and played the trailer. 

On this one I didn't let the complete audio of the DVD Start Menu play because I'd previously uploaded just the Stargate Special Edition | DVD Start Menu → https://youtu.be/fYvneMs2gOU itself.

Stargate Special Edition | DVD Start Menu - PowerDVD 24 PC Mode vs TV Mode

This is the start Menu of the Stargate Special Edition DVD. If you don't make a selection the audio you hear here repeats itself.

I'd previously extracted and uploaded the Stargate Special Edition | DVD Start Menu → https://youtu.be/fYvneMs2gOU using PowerDVD 24 PC mode. I wanted to see if there was a difference if using PowerDVD TV mode, hence this video to compare. When I used PowerDVD 24 PC Mode to play this on my computer, it gave me a slightly fuzzy and flickering menu. The actual movie, as well as the teaser and trailer, played ok. When I used PowerDVD 24 TV Mode to play this on my computer, it gave me a crisp menu but it pixelated some of the actual video, including the teaser, and trailer.    

The other player I tried was VLC media player which didn't play the initial 25 seconds where you see the Artisan Entertainment logo nor the video before the menu. It started right at the menu but it provided crisp menu and all video played perfectly ok. Since there is no membership to use for VLC it is likely the one I'll continue to use until I find one that would play a DVD as if inserted into an old school DVD player connected to a TV.

So just know the player you use as well as any modes or options for play may make a difference on what plays and how it looks.

We created the Amalgam Creative Arts channel and Facebook, Instagram, etc. to share what we create and to inspire you and ourselves to be creative. A space where with even a small amount of imagination anyone can make something. We also share what some of those around us create. 

Our approach to creating arts and crafts is using anything you have access to, because we believe that having the privilege of obtaining the necessary art supplies shouldn't hinder anyone from producing what is in your mind. This is why we point out on our channel intro that Amalgam Creative Arts is about creating without restrictions. Our preference has always been to use anything that we may have at our disposal to make something out of it. You could say we are a mixed-media type of outlet. 

We encourage you, and in turn ourselves, to be inspired and create using any medium. This is why we believe that AI tools can be a catalyst for creativity, specially for those with limited access, disabilities, etc. Also why we've generally used the ones that offer low or no cost options and why we opt to include the generator and other details on any AI-powered creations. However, because of the implications of using AI, we have decided to limit/eliminate our use of AI for the foreseeable future. Now, you'll still see some of our AI-Powered Creations because we still have plenty that we haven't shared.
