In celebration of Cinco de Mayo where I worked at the time, we sent out an email that included info of various upcoming local events and email trivia for a chance to win a goodie basket. That's right, before slack and the like, when we wanted to do a trivia it was via email.
Cinco de Mayo landed on a Wednesday that year, with most local events taking place the weekend prior, therefore, we sent an email before the weekend with a list of local events. Then, on Cinco de Mayo, we held an email trivia where participants that got all the correct answers were entered into a drawing for a Cinco de Mayo goodie basket.
